About Riddle School 2

Riddle School 2 continues the story, with Phil Eggtree into Riddle Middle School. Older and craftier now, Phil refuses to sit through another boring lecture. This sequel, released in November 2006, added a bigger map, trickier item puzzles, and a cast of oddball classmates that make the escape feel worth the effort.

The middle school setting gives it a different vibe from the elementary original. Hallways stretch further, locked doors demand specific solutions, and teachers patrol with more suspicion. Phil has to sweet-talk a janitor, swipe a hall pass, and outsmart a vending machine just to reach the front door.

The layered puzzle design is the main thing. Items you collect early turn out to be useful several rooms later, so you have to think ahead instead of clicking randomly. Phil's dry humor keeps the tone light even when a puzzle stumps you for the third time.
